Articles 1-7
Article I (The legislative)
Article l states the powers of the Legislative Branch. The article also states that it is made up of congress which has 2 houses, the Senate and the House of Represenatives and describes what they can and can't do.
Article II (the executive)
Article ll decribes how we elect the president and vice-president and what the eligibilities are. Article II also states the president's duties and what they are permitted to do and talks about impeachment.
Article III (the judicial)
Article lll describes the Judicial branch and that it is made up of the superme court which handles major trials. The article also states where you go, depending on what crime you have commited and that no one can be sentenced to death for treason.
Article IV (crime/work)
Article lV describes what happens if you commit a crime or owe work to someone, and leave the state where you commited the crime or owed the work. The article also describes how states can be formed and what Congress and the U.S. can do to protect the country.
Article V (amendments)
Article V describes that you can't change the first and fourth clauses in Section 9 in Article 1 until the year 1808.
Article VI (public trials)
Article VI states that when someone is on trial, they have a public trial in the district of the crime and that lawyers are paid for by the government if they are unaffordable for the citizen accused. Also the jury will be informed on why the person is on trial, the jury will have witnesses against the criminal and ones in his favor.
Article VII (lawsuits)
Article VII states that if you are going to sue somebody for more than $20.00, then you are to go to court. In court you can have an equal and fair trial.
